Department of Tourism (DOT) just launched their new slogan: " It's more fun in the Philippines!" last January 6,2012.
Hearing the slogan makes me explore the Philippines more and experience other parts of the country that will makes me happy and brings me more fun. Hehe!. What more when you see the pictures of DOT's ad, tempting!
Some says the slogan is a copycat of Switzerland's 1951's ad but hey! I don't think it is fair to our young, creative and resourceful DOT's officers to be branded as such for they are young (obviously, not familiar to a 1951's ads. Hehe!) and for their creativity and services to Filipinos cannot be measured and limited to the slogan they happened to believed is catchy and nice.
The pictures along with the slogan says it all. It is very colorful and shows Filipino's rich culture and heritage. Thus, I will says, "It's more fun in the Philippines!".

Heaven and Eggs
Breakfast, they say, is the most important meal of the day. Why's that? Well, according to my grade school teacher, morning activities drains our energy, thus, our body needs a lot of it and takes its "fuel" from the breakfast we ate.
For us, Filipinos, a breakfast are either a combination of a hot coffee and hot pandesal (bread) with butter or cheese; it can also be a combination of fresh fruit juice and sandwich or simply fresh fruits. For most of us, they chose to eat plain/java rice with tapa or egg omelet or corned beef or longganisa. Hmmm, yummy! A number of population though, nowadays, prefer American breakfast, a sandwich or pan cakes.
