Crystal Beach Resort

            I normally go to Zambales when I feel like chasing the waves and exhaust my self from surfing.  Where else should I stay other than a resort that offers exactly what I need: a fine sand (not exactly white), a surfboard and a comfortable bed/hammock to stay for the night.

             Crystal beach is located in San Narciso, Zambales. Its two (2) hours away from Olongapo City - the capital of Zambales.  The resort offers an unforgettable surfing experience for both amateurs and pro surfers.  They also offer other water activities such as skim boarding, kayaking, beach volley and obstacle race and campsite for campers right next to the shore.

           To reach this destination, you can buy your bus ticket in Victory Liner  - Cubao.  They offer a direct ride from Cubao, Quezon City to San Narciso, Zambales (277Php/pax).  If you missed the bus, you can take a Cubao - Olongapo City route (207Php/pax) and then take another Victory Liner bus or other bus liner for that matter that will take you to San Narciso (ranges from 50-100Php/pax).  You just need to ask the bus conductor to drop you off San Narciso plaza.  The means of transportation in San Narcisco are either by bus or tricycle.  Right in front of the plaza, you will find different tricycle terminals for different "barangays". The ride to the resort will cost you 20Php/pax.  They have a wide space for parking open 24/7 for free.

           
           For those who wants to bring their own car, you can take Balintawak and then exit to NLEX.  From the last tollgate of NLEX, you must exit in SCTEX and drive straight to Subic/SBMA.  Once you've reach SBMA tollgate, you need to go to the right  - Rizal highway until you reach Olongapo City tollgate.  You turn left in Canal Street and left again to San Narciso, Zambales.  

             Crystal Beach is known for skim boarder and surfer for its the only resort in San Narciso, Zambales that offers both surfers and skim boarders' dream location (big waves, fine sand, quiet surrounding) and facilities for comfortable stay.  Different types of accommodations are available for small and big groups.  They are providing an accommodation as big as two-story native-style cottages, native-design tree houses, two-story native-design surf shack, native-design attic rooms, barracks-style dormitory.  Cost of accommodations ranges from 800Php to 4,000Php depending on the capacity and number of days to stay. The resort has its dining hall where you can order Filipino meals that ranges from 50Php-100Php.  There is no shortage of food for a lot of stores are scattered in the vicinity of Brgy. La Paz and even right outside the resorts premises.  Supermarkets and convenience stores, banks and carenderias are also located a tricycle away from the resort's entrance.    

            They also offer island hopping to maximize your stay in Zambales, offer surf lessons for those who wants to learn, team-building activities, and catering for special events: wedding receptions, birthdays, company outings and alike.
